Sandy's Sweaters
Sandy made these three sweaters from Plymouth Encore Worsted. How nice are these? I wanted to grab this gray one for myself - but, poor me, it's a Christmas gift for someone else. The other two - WOW - father and son sweaters. We had fun picking out the colors for those two.

Baby's First Hat
Our customer Nancy made these adorable hats for twins using Blue Sky Alpaca's pattern "Baby's First Hat" and Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino yarn. They are so sweet I think I'm going to have to start one tonight for my grandaughter that will arrive in September!

Kim Stopped by today
My friend Kim stopped by today and pulled these wonderful projects out of her knitting bag. Three pairs of socks made with Noro sock yarn and this beautiful sweater made with Plymouth Boku. She is an amazing knitter and so fast it makes my head spin. Seems like she was just here yesterday buying the yarn! And lucky me - she left them here at the shop- so they are on display over the fireplace. If you wonder what the Noro Sock yarn looks like worked up, stop in and see these beauties.

Shirley's Baby Blanket
This blanket is sooo sweet with all the animals. Shirley also lined the back of the blanket with matching fabric. Wish I had remembered to get a picture of that also as it was a really nice touch!! She made this with Plymouth DreamBaby DK

Kim's Sweater (Lot of Stockinette)
My friend Kim, who is an excellent knitter, decided to make this beautiful sweater for a friend. It is a Classic Elite pattern, done in Cascade 220. The problem was - the stockinette stitch. She became BORED. Thought there for a minute, when she came in to buy sock yarn that she just might not finish this gorgeous sweater. She needs more challanging knitting - she is that good! So I put her sock yarn in the back and basically told her she could have it when the sweater was done ha ha! It worked. This sweater while classic and simple in style - is beautfiul. Can't wait to see the Noro Socks Kim.

"February Lady Sweater" class
Between making the two Blue Sky Alapca Baby Blankets, my friend Jody had the time to knit up this sample for the class. This is an amazing sweater, and looks great on any body type. The class starts this Wednesday, June 10th. See class schedule for more info.

Lace Shawl- Sample for Class
This is so pretty! The class starts next Friday, June 12. Barbara, the teacher made this one. Her words "Picture being on the Hudson, with this wrapped around you" Lace weights make for some great summer knitting.

Two Rugs
How could you ever put these on the floor and let someone walk on them. I think they belong a wall somewhere. Cascade 220 was used for the edging on these. We were all stunned with the quality of work on these two rugs. Just beautiful!

Hooded Baby Cardigan by Jean
Love the little tractor buttons. Made with Plymouth Encore Worsted.

Amy's Sweater
This is such a sweet little hooded sweater. Just love the color combination. I missed Amy when she stopped in (which upset me, because I so enjoy talking to her) so I don't have all the info on the pattern and yarn, but will post as soon as I see her again. I'm pretty sure it is the Blue Sky Alpaca Hooded Sweater Pattern made in Blue Sky ??? Cotton??
Finally got to talk to my Amy! It is Blue Sky Alapac's cotton and the good news is Amy said she used less than one skein on each color. The Pattern is Blue Sky's Hooded Baby Sweater.

Wow - Blue Sky Alpacas Baby Blanket
Two of them together! The green one is done in Blue Sky's dyed cotton, the pink in their Worsted Hand dyes. I believe there is a third one floating around my friend Jody's house. She made two in the time it took me to make one. This is a very easy pattern with a nice little intro to lace.

Anne's Shawl
Beautiful - Both the shawl and Anne. Anne and I untangled a few balls of cashmere and got to know each other. It always amazes me how you can make a friend, just winding or in this case untangling, a ball of yarn. We call it "a bonding experience" here.

Katie's Dress
This pretty little dress is really very easy to make. It is a Blue Sky Alpaca pattern and this one was made up with their Dyed Cotton which is 100% organically grown. It is one of the softest cotton's I've every touched. As requested by Miss Katie Girl, who is 5, I'm now working on a sun-bonnet to go with it!

Blankets for Twins
How sweet is this? Both blankets made with Plymouth Encore. The yellow is for the girl and of course the blue is for the boy. Hope we can get a picture of them togther when the blue one is complete. Maybe we'll get lucky and receive a picture with the babies wrapped in them.
